Iain Valliere teams up with Coach Matt Jansen for his comeback at the 2023 Toronto Pro Supershow

After falling short of expectations at the Mr. Olympia, Canadian bodybuilder Iain Valliere has been striving to improve his game. In a recent YouTube video, Valliere revealed that he has reunited with his coach, Matt Jansen, and is aiming to make a comeback at the 2023 Toronto Pro Supershow. Valliere, a renowned IFBB Pro League Men's Open contender, made a name for himself with his exceptional conditioning and intricate muscle detail. He first earned recognition after receiving an invitation to the Mr. Olympia competition in 2018, where he placed 14th.

Over the next few years, Iain's performance continued to impress with several strong showings, including a runner-up finish at the 2019 Toronto Pro Supershow and a third-place finish at the 2019 Tampa Pro. In 2020, he emerged victorious at the New York Pro, defeating the likes of Justin Rodriguez, Hassan Mostafa, and Maxx Charles. Valliere capped off the season with a seventh-place finish at the 2020 Mr. Olympia, proving himself to be a formidable contender in the sport.

Maintaining his exceptional form, Valliere secured a commanding win at the 2021 Tampa Pro, followed by another victory at the 2021 Texas Pro. Although he narrowly missed out on winning the 2021 Arnold Sports Festival, he displayed his mettle by securing a second-place finish behind the champion, Nick Walker. Valliere further cemented his position among the top competitors by finishing seventh at the 2021 Mr. Olympia, matching his performance from the previous year.

Last year, Iain Valliere commenced his season by clinching a victory at the 2022 Vancouver Pro, ensuring his spot in the lineup for the latest Olympia. The outspoken Men’s Open competitor sparked rivalries with fellow contenders like Michal Krizo. Valliere offered his fans a glimpse of his chiseled physique ahead of the Olympia, but ultimately fell short of his best form, placing eleventh in the competition. He voiced his frustration and acknowledged mistakes made in his attempts to peak for the show and during his posing routine.

Canadian bodybuilder Iain Valliere has announced his reunion with coach Matt Jansen in a recent YouTube video, as he targets a comeback at the 2023 Toronto Pro Supershow. Valliere, an IFBB Pro League Men's Open competitor, had previously worked with Jansen and decided to part ways with his former coach, Patrick Tuor. During their previous partnership, Valliere had a successful run, winning four Pro shows, and achieving his highest placings at the Olympia contests. Now, with Jansen back in his corner, Valliere aims to make a triumphant return to the bodybuilding stage.

Iain Valliere was recently accused by former Mr. Olympia Samir Bannout of injecting drugs into his calf muscles, which Bannout claimed had a negative impact on his physique. While Valliere has yet to comment on the accusation, Bannout has called on him to acknowledge the alleged drug use and its effects.
