The date of birth of the famous bodybuilder Tom Platz is June 26, 1955. He was born in Oklahoma, United States. The name of his father and mother is still unknown. He has two siblings and the name of his wife is Cha Nikito-Platz.

When he was only nine years old, he saw a picture of the famous bodybuilder Dave Draper. He was much inspired by Dave and decided to be a bodybuilder. He went to his father and said, "It is what I want to be in my future." Then he started lifting the bugs at the age of 9 years. He also visited many gyms and asked them if they trained him.

“When you promise yourself something, make a commitment, you can't give up."

When Tom was at the age of 15, his weight was almost 166 pounds. The main reason for his rapid weight gaining of Tom was his genetics. So, he had gained much weight with developed muscles in very less time. Tom has joined many gyms and learned the right way to squat from trainers Norbe and Lowe.

At the age of 15, he started taking part in many bodybuilding shows. He also has participated in eight Mr. Olympia shows. His fame is not because of trophies; he is famous because of his weight-lifting videos.

Injuries

Some people like to live without too much risk. They're satisfied leading a safe existence. This attitude of caution infiltrated into their goals. Every successful athlete-or businessperson-enjoys taking calculated risks. You have to. Especially in the gym when you're squatting 500 for reps and you can’t get one more but grunt out ten. Your nose starts bleeding, you fall into the rack and that’s set one.

Tom Platz became known for his leg development throughout his professional bodybuilding career in the 1970s and 1980s, and one look at his physique at the time will tell you why. He was known as "The Golden Eagle" because of his distinctive golden hair, but he was also known as "The Quadfather" because Platz, who also powerlifted throughout his career, was Mr. Universe in 1980 and finished third at the 1981 Olympia, which many fans felt he should have won. He was known to hammer his legs with high-rep, high-intensity squats to build his famed wheels. And the punishment certainly paid off.

"Bodybuilders were one family, with their friction, but with their shared love – bodybuilding."

As Tom was caught in some serious knee injuries, he also has faced circulatory system issues and difficulty in his right leg. It became a serious and life-threatening issue.

Platz is still in shape and gives bodybuilding and leg development courses. He demonstrated the benefits of a good diet and consistent workouts in a recent Instagram post.

Championships

He got this award in the Global Championship program. He also appeared in the Mr. Olympia awards but unfortunately, he did not get that award. Conclusion

I don’t believe in luck. Luck comes to men of action

Tom Platz is a bodybuilder and professional actor. Also known as the Golden Eagle. Unofficially regarded as Mr. Olympia 1981. Thomas began training at the age of ten in 1965, after his parents purchased Joe Weider's instruction manual and full equipment. According to the athlete, his life changed the moment he touched the bar in his hands. The child obeyed every instruction in the guidebook, spending all of his spare time to training. Soon after, he attracted the attention of a magazine featuring images of Dave Draper, and Tom made the definite decision to commit his life to bodybuilding. When Tom moved to California, he unintentionally located near Draper and frequently practised with his childhood idol. Thomas was Arnold Schwarzenegger's disciple, and he learned how to organise his actions from him. Platz made his amateur world championship debut in 1978, winning first place in the middle weight category and the "Absolute category" in Acapulco, Mexico. In 1979, he competed in the Mr. Olympia contest and finished eighth. Platz finished second in the "World Championship Pro" in 1980, allowing forward Jusup Wilkosz to advance. Tom's highest competition result was a third-place finish at Mr. Olympia in 1981. Tom Platz retired from sports in 1987. After finishing his career, the athlete began acting in films.
